I teamed up with Walmart Beauty and Rewardstyle to put together a few fun looks with their Halloween Beauty Box. The beauty box retails for $9.98, but if you bought the products individually it would cost you $40.52! In short, it is a great way to try new products and save money at the same time. In my box was a lot of fun goodies (or since it’s Halloween should I say baddies?) Tucked inside was: Revlon ColorStay 16 Hour Shadow in “Moonlit”Milani Strobelight Liquid Highlighter in 24k glow,  Hard Candy Glitteratzi Crystal Lip Duo in Crushed Crimson, Splat Hair Chalk in “Sugar Plum”, Sinful Colors nail polish in “Go Go Girl”, a makeup wipe and my new favorite red lipstick NYX- “Red Haute”. They box also came with this cute guide on how to do some simple halloween make up looks, but since I’m a rebel, I decided to just do my own thing. That said, if you’re looking for inspiration, this is really helpful.

I like to take basics and make them into new ideas. So I started with a classic glam red lip look, because let’s be honest, I am semi-obsessed with this NYX shade. I used the Revlon Moonlit shadow for a soft neutral smokey eye and add this lovely golden glow to my cheek with the Milani Strobelight Liquid Highlighter in 24k glow,

The result  was a great base make up, because it can easily be transformed into a whole new vibe with only a few small tweaks,  Add some whiskers- boom you’re a cat. Pump up the eye liner- Boom you’re a witch. Curl your hair, you’re like me- a 1930 starlette.

Lots of people ask me how I shoot so many different things in a day. What I do is start with a great base (like this one) and build on my make up and hair with each look. So by using the glitter lipstick/gloss and another NYX product ( this amazingly colorful palette) to add a punch of purple on my lids. all of the sudden I’ve gone from the all that jazz to funky town.

Halloween is about stepping outside of your comfort zone. An easy way to do that is start with something you love- like your go to every day make up- and build on it. Let yourself go a little ( or a lot) wild. You might be surprised with what you come up with!
